Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let folks know that this weekend our office got together for a fish fry. One of our new agents went to Alaska and brought enough fish back to feed the entire office and their families.
As soon as she announced she had fish, folks came out of their offices to volunteer to cook, give up their home and a sign up list for accompaniments went up. It took 30 minutes of planning and we had ourselves a get together.
It was so nice to talk to folks in the office who weren't interrupted by a phone call or rushing off to a meeting. Meeting spouses and kids was truly a joy and yes, we did talk about work.
Everyone seemed to have a great time and the foods was wonderful and guess what, it wasn't a holiday. Our office day was a huge success, so if your thinking what a great idea....do it. There is nothing like good conversation and lots of laughter!
