The public is invited to celebrate Hanukkah at Sun City Grand in Surprise Arizona. The Menora is from Chabad and measures over 5 feet tall. Befitting of the Grand community, it's a Grand Menorah!
The Hanukkah celebration is open to the entire community and City of Surprise. Sponsored by the Sun City Grand Shalom Club, the lighting of the Hanukkah Menorah will occur in front of the Chaparral Center in Sun City Grand on Remington Drive off of Sunrise Boulevard.
The Menorah will be lit at exactly 6 p.m., starting December 1, 2010 and continuing every night up to and including December 8, 2010. On Friday December 3, the Hanukkah candle lighting will be at 4:45pm; the sabbath candle will be lit thereafter.
Come join us in singing of traditional Hanukkah songs and jelly dough-nuts every night.
