Being in the REAL ESTATE business for 18 years and owning my own office for the Last 15 this has been the TOUGHEST YEAR I have ever had!!
I have tried to cut back on things that DID NOT effect my Sellers or Buyers Quality of Service. We have cut down on things like on Fridays our office is Closed at 3:00P.M. And calls are forwarded to the Agent on call for the weekend. Last year Instead of renting a place and having Dinner catered and DJ We had our Office Party at the Office, everyone brought a Dish and instead of exchanging gifts we obtain a list of names from the Local Retirement Home of People who had no visitors or family and we bought presents for them and visited with them.
Being a firm believer in helping others, I have always support Charity Like Disabled Veterans,St Labre Indian School, Breast Cancer, Heart Association Habitat My Local Church and others. But my Favorite place to give is to Missions!!
So in saying all of that I have not had the funds to supported Charities like I normally do, So if I had a extra $220 I would give it to Friends of mine that are Missionaries
Harvest International, Inc. was formed in 1991 by Reverend Pat and Mary Lynn Franks. They have been to 20+Countries to share the LOVE OF CHRIST! Their work has involved in assisting Medical Clinics, feeding and humanitarian Projects.
I love to give and support People like Pat and Mary Lynn Franks, who have dedicate their lives to helping People who are less fortunate than ourselves. They have not only traveled the worldover but they have been FAITHFUL in helping people in our Country . Their Message is simple
"Only believers have a living vibrant hope because
that hope is based upon the resurrection of the Living Christ!!"
As our Code of Ethics states in our Preamble"WHATSOEVER YE WOULD THAT OTHERS SHOULD DO TO YOU, DO YE EVEN SO TO THEM!" It is definably more blessed to give than to receive.
This post is for the ActiveRain 'I could save $220 with Kodak Contest. I have a chance to win a free Kodak Printer, $220 in cash to use for the idea in my blog post, and an extra $100 to use toward ink!.
