What would I do with $220.00 in Savings? - I'd go buy a Kodak Camera.

Ever since Active Rain announced that I can save $220 by switching to a Kodak printer I've been excited. I had just paid $37.95 for a color ink cartridge for my HP printer, so I can really appreciate that the Kodak color ink cartridges are only $17.99. To sweeten the deal even more, the black ink cartridges for Kodak printers are only $9.99. Now that's sweet.

I spent some time thinking about what I would do with that $220 in savings. My decision? A new camera to help with my blogging. I massively admire Mr. Mike's (aka Mike in Tucson) amazing photo blog and I want to emulate him. But alas I can't as my camera went on walk about so I'm currently sharing one with my dear hubbie.

I set about to do my research and found a beautiful Kodak Easy Share Z981 camera on Amazon right in that price range. Why the Kodak Easy Share Z981? It sports 14 megapixels, 26x optical zoom and 26 mm-wide angle lens (I'm liking the flexibility) and a 3.0 in. bright LCD. Plus, the easy share feature will allow me to easily post pictures to Facebook, Twitter and other online resources so it fit right in with my business.

There ya have it, a new Kodak Printer with affordable ink cartridges and a new Kodak Easy Share Z981 digital camera will set me up for a blogging and marketing
frenzy in 2011!

Kate---My husband and I share MY new camera too. His idea of sharing is to keep it in his brief case and when I need it, I can ask for it. Makes for very poor spontaneity!
