I must not be very popular, I've only gotten one and it was from a fellow agent.. Somehow I don't think she's going to be buying from me!

Just curious, do you send out e-cards to your SOI? I find them to be sort of the lazy man's way of keeping in touch and don't pay much attention to them, therefore I don't send them either. What are your thoughts?

Moving over to a whole 'nother topic...I'd be interested to read that 10,000 word manifesto you mentioned on RM's post when you get it finished.

Julia - Oh well! They're on their way, I'm sure!

I don't do ecards. I don't have objection to them and I enjoy the ones I get, but I'm just not inspired to do them myself.

I finished the manifesto this morning - at least - as much as I'm going to do for now. Ended up being more like 6,000 words... no one has seen it yet - no one... not that it's anything all that earth-shattering, but I know from experience that the message in it won't be well-received by the masses... although I'm sure I'm 100% right.

I'm sure I have your email address, but send it to me again and when I get brave enough, I'll send you a copy...

Good tip about replying to the cards.  I use ecards mostly for folks overseas or people for whom I don't yet have a snail mail address.  Otherwise, it's writer's cramp for me but it's worth it.

Answering mail is terrific - I send out ecards and often get responses.  i take time to respond to the response.  I generally get about 15-20 responses.

Happy T-Day!  Jennifer's email yesterday inspired me to actually send e-cards for the first time.  I sent Jennifer one to say thanks for the inspiration, she immediately replied living up once again to her own advice.  Go Jennifer!

BTW, I'd be more than happy to see the manifesto.

JA - You're a genius!  So far 2 dinners, a luncheon and drinks.  A little response and that was all it took.  Well worth the 10 or so minutes to be cordial with those well wishers, our friends.  Feeling so thankful this Thanksgiving because of you and your ridiculous ways!

I fell behind a little in responding to my greetings yesterday afternoon (y'know, that food thing got in the way), but I had a great time with it myself up til that point!

Hi Jennifer.  Just checking back in.

Strange.  Way less email "Happy Thanksgivings" this year.

Seems everyone has moved to Facebook?

Thanks for all the TDay greetings! Ken - mine were way down this year, too. But I certainly wouldn't call Facebook a good substitute...
