Psalm 100:4-5 "Enter His gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations"

Oh God, I want to KNOW You. You are so great and do great things. I want to spend more time with You. Help me to make time to sit before Your throne in quiet places, to read Your Word in order to know You more intimately, to develop an ear to hear Your voice so that I know when to turn to the right or to the left. I trust You to guide me in all things. Thank you for everything you have blessed my life with this year and thank you for every blessing in the coming year. In Jesus name, amen

God is so great and worthy to be praised! Thank you for your post and your prayer at the end. He hears your prayer and enjoys having us pray and talk to Him. There is no better way to know Him than to take all of our needs, desires, hurts, anger, confess our sins and weaknesses, make requests, and praise to His gates, through our prayers. Spending quite time with Him each day, and learning to listen to His voice, His word, and His Truth asking Him to apply His teaching and understanding to our ways. It is better to DO righteousness and holiness, and justice to ALL whenever we are given the opportunity than to make sacrifices (for sins). Never say I'll help your neighbor tomorrow, when you have it with you today to give of your time and talent.

I love All of the Psalms and Proberbs! I was just meditating on Psalm 34 with God today. It has many of the same themes as Psalm 100. I love verse 11. It says "Come, children listen to me. I will teach you the fear of the Lord" There is nothing more important than for us to come to God the Father as little children, trusting Him, obeying Him, thanking Him for the sacrifice of His son and raising Jesus Christ from the dead so that we can believe and know that we have eternal life in Heaven waiting for us on the appointed day. I'm so thankful that He is such a great God, such as wonderful perfect father, he knows our sins, our faults, or needs, and provides His Grace, by the power of His righteous right hand. Jesus, teach us the fear of the Lord.
