I am very Thankful!

     As I leave the office today for a 5 day retreat, I wanted to reflect on this holiday.  I will return to my house today and start the baking of cookies & pies.  Later tonight I will start mixing the stuffing for the turkey. I will set my alarm for O dark thirty in the am to put the turkey in the oven, and then we will start our day.  After I get all the linens and holiday dishes out I will turn on the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.  My middle son is home from college for the week and my eldest will be coming over later this afternoon.  I still have one at home, a senior in high school.  Soon, my wonderful family will start filtering in. With hugs and warm wishes.  I am cooking for 15 family and friends today.  It is this moment that I have worked for the last couple of days and this is what I am thankful for.  I have a happy marriage, three wonderful boys and I am surrounded by a terrific family.
