It looks like the rainy weather over the next few days will force the issue and the trees in Cary will lose most of their remaining leaves, and their remaining fall color. How could we complain? This has been one of the most splendid falls many of us can remember over the last few years.
Everywhere I go, I think I need to pull over and shoot 100 snapshots. And I have a ton already. But, the color is so fleeting, and when it is gone, we are into winter. Now, of course, it is a North Carolina winter, and any talk of wolves, tundra, permafrost, blizzards, and icicles is roundly pooh-poohed. But, still, it is winter. What color we may find will not begin to compare to the bright round of color visited on us by Fall, 2010.
So, a few of my favorite Fall Images from this year....
HAPPY THANKSGIVING, TO ONE AND ALL!
