The real estate market in the neighborhood of Parkside in Pleasanton has been very quiet for the past six months, as it has been for the previous years, with no pending home sales or active listings. But as the saying goes, still waters run deep. This is actually an indicator that Parkside is a good place to live in, with people rarely moving out or selling their property and once they do, the properties sell fast.

For the entire 2010, there have been only three closed home sales compared to four sales during the previous year. The four sales had a median sales price of $844,775 and an average price of $365 per square foot, selling above 99% of the original listing price. The homes stayed for an average of just 11 days on the market.
