Who Says Things Slow Down for the Holidays?

I'm not sure exactly what is fueling the fire but buyers seem to be out there.  My listings are getting more showings and the phone is ringing.  Perhaps the upward nudge in interest rates are making buyers want to jump before rates edge higher.  I have ALWAYS told my buyers if they ask what I believe is the best time to buy...between Thanksgiving and New Years.  Sellers who have homes on the market at this time are serious about selling.  Sellers of homes that are vacant don't want to think about keeping the heat going and snow removal for showings etc.  They want the house SOLD.  Maybe all those buyers are listening to me and thats why the sudden bursts!  Yesterday on Thanksgiving Day, I had lots to be thankful for.  Another great year of business was certainly on the list.

Robin, I agree.  Business goes up for me this time of year.  It's a great time for buyers and sellers.  Have a prosperous new year!

Hi Robin!  We too have been busy.  The serious buyers are out shopping this time of year.  And what is a better Christmas gift than a house!? =)
