Services for Real Estate Pros

With a conscious decision to avoid what might be called Black Friday shopping rituals, I have spent a peaceful day at home (Yes - I do have a home office too).

I might have felt full yesterday, but I seem to have added to it all today. In what might be an excess of good food, my wife has kept me stoked - mostly with turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potato and "stuffing". And with this comes a strange sensation of having to close my eyes.

We had a great Thanksgiving with all appropiate relatives checking in. A turkey for two, however, is quite a survival exercise, something to be overcome. Must be good training for the Christmas Season.

I give thanks for living in a country of relative plenty, where generosity and sharing abound, and where the people pause to reflect their blessings.

sometimes its good to be able to relax and savor these moments Larry!  Life can get too crazy and our business is frustrating at times so reflecting and eating sounds good to me!

Like you I did not shop today. I chose to putter at home, enjoy round two of Thanksgiving dinner, nap, catch up with friends on the phone (instead of email) and spend a great day with my partner and all our four on the floors.

Larry ~ I'm with you! No shopping craziness for me. Thankfully I worked today, visited with clients and wrote an offer with other clients. I couldn't wait to get home for those leftovers, yum! Beautiful post.

Larry~ I agree no shopping and if you do decide to shop check out the local stores.  I love leftovers.  My favorite part.  I love creating new receipes and yummy soups.  I think you made a fabulous decision to work from home. We have such fabulous careers that we can avoid the craziness of "going to an office" and have the flexibilty of working from a home office instead. Enjoy

Larry, we normally eat hot turkey sandwiches on Friday evening while watching the Holidazzle parade on television.  But, I got home from our Black Friday at the antique shop a bit late....so cold turkey on whole wheat with lettuce and mayo and some leftover relish tray was good enough for me.  Yum.

It was a sumptuos meal on Thursday.  And, it is fantastic to live here in Minnesota.  Thank goodness we have a day set aside for being grateful!
