IT really is looking a lot like Christmas right here in Lake Arrowhead. We have exciting and fun events and things to do all month long. So come on up, come on out, and enjoy the holiday season with us.

DECEMBER 1, 5:00-8:00 PM:  A "TASTE OF ARROWHEAD" will take place at the beautiful Lake Arrowhead Resort. Come sample a variety of wonderful foods & beverages, provided by our local restaurants! Cost is $25.00 (Chamber Members) or $30.00 (non-Chamber Members). Please bring an unwrapped toy or gift card for the holiday toy drive provided by "Operation Provider." DECEMBER 3, 4, 5, You won't want to miss Lake Arrowhead Classical Ballet Company's "THE NUTCRACKER" which takes place at Rim of The World High School in Lake Arrowhead.  For more info call 909-336-9206. Times below:

DECEMBER 4, 2:00 PM:  It's that time of year again... the annual BLUE JAY CHRISTMAS PARADE. This will put even The Grinch in a holiday mood. So, bundle up the kiddies, bring your lawn chairs and a thermos of hot cocoa and come watch our parade. It is oh-so-special!  Located right in the middle of Blue Jay. (Roads North Bay to Daly Canyon will be closed from 1pm to 3:30pm. For more info call Molly at 909-337-8463.

DECEMBER 6, 6:00 - 9:00 PM:  The Annual "HOLIDAY FIREMAN'S BONFIRE" at  Lake Arrowhead Village. is held at the lower parking lot. There'll be holiday music, hot dogs and hot cocoa! DECEMBER 9, 11:45 - 1:30 PM: The Lake Arrowhead Chamber of Commerce is hosting their annual "HOLIDAY LUNCHEON" at one of my favorite places here in Lake Arrowhead, UCLA CONFERENCE CENTER!  850 Willow Creek Rd. Price: $25.00 for Chamber members or $30.00 for non-Chamber members... But everyone is invited! For tickets call the 909-337-3715.

DECEMBER 10, 7:00 PM: "HOLIDAY STRINGS & COOKIES CONCERT" will be presented by the students of the ARROWHEAD ARTS ASSOCIATION. This exciting event will take place at Mary Putnum Henck (MPH) School in Lake Arrowhead.  The concert begins at 7:00 and is FREE to all. There will be a pre-show event with music, raffle & desserts held at 6.30. DECEMBER 11, 6:00 PM:  Mountains Community Hospital Auxiliary is sponsoring the Candlelight Ball's "PUTTING ON THE GLITZ" in honor of Dr. Kyi Kyi Win, one of our wonderful local doctors. DECEMBER5 16, 5:00 - 9:00 PM: RIM OF THE WORLD HISTORICAL SOCIETY will be hosting their annual  CHRISTMAS DINNER at UCLA CONFERENCE CENTER! Located at 850 Willow Creek Rd. Cocktails begin at 5:00 PM and dinner at 6:30. The conference center is beautifully decorated for the holiday season... a must attend! DECEMBER 18 - 19, 10:00 - 4:00PM: BIG OLDE SANTA DAYS, held at the Mountain History Museum, will be open for the weekend so you can bring the kids by and have their pictures taken with Old St. Nick. If you haven't visited the museum, yet, then this is a perfect time. DECEMBER 19, (call for hrs): "Three Dog Bakery brings the GRINCH TO LAKE ARROWHEAD VILLAGE. Three Dog Bakery, in association with the Mountains Humane Society, will be taking pictures of your furry friend and you, along with The Grinch! How fun (and cute) will this be? There will be Antlers & hats provided for your pets is you wish. Cost is $15.00. A portion of the proceeds go to the Mountains Humane Society.
