If you're in the neighborhood on Saturday, December 4th, come see our City of Hemet Centennial Christmas parade. Hemet is celebrating 100 years (and counting), and I'm sure that this parade will be nothing short of spectacular.
In reviewing the rules and regulations for submitting an application to participate in the parade, I noticed that their biggest rule is that no float nor any person in the parade may dress in a santa suit. This, of course, is so that the children will not be confused with the "real Santa" bringing up the rear of the parade.
The parade will begin promptly at 10 A.M. at the corner of Florida and Palm, and travel west to Florida and Kirby, where it will end.
These parades are always a lot of fun, and the kids love every minute of them. So, bring out the whole family and join in the fun, next Saturday, December 4th, for the Hemet Centennial Christmas Parade.
And, when the parade ends (at Gibbel Park) there will be festivities all day until 4pm
