Several years back I too was a junkie (BPO's) and was starting to lag on the real parts of business. At first I was very impressed at the feel for the market that one acquires doing them properly. In my opinion, as in most repetitive situations though you can burn out, especially having never gone to an automated system. I did wean off the 12-15 a week I was doing and got back to the prospecting I was long avoiding. After the transition and when I started losing the assignment volume they never really came back and now I work with 3 companies as opposed to the 20+ previously. I still do a couple a week and I try to keep it to no more than 3 in order to stay focused on my real goals in life.
FYI; I did begin getting emails for BPO's from unknowns and just started Googling them only to find the HORROR stories on line OMG! Once again Google to the rescue
