I sent out about 50 E-mails awhile back introducing my real estate photography and received no responses.
Week before last I sent out the same e-mail with a YouTube video and got back two responses with two scheduled photo shoots within two days.

All I've been reading lately points to video really having great potential to draw in new business. Your success story is another example that makes me want to bust out my video camera! Love that the video is short and sweet, yet gives your potential clients a good idea of what you can do for them and some samples of your work. Hope the business floods in for you!

Nice. Short, sweet and to the point. I think professional photography and video are going to continue to gain ground as the preferred medium of marketing, not just homes but yourself as well.
Wow! What great shots. How about slowing down a bit so I could see them better? Or put up a slide presentation that I could change at will. I think you would get more business that way. Good luck, you will do well with your skill. I see way too many poor pictures, at least in my MLS.

Iran- You said it!!! At the end of the day we are providers and must market our service. Photography, Video, or who knows what's coming next. We must keep evolving.The next big thing will be making what ever we have play on every single device (mobile or desktop). Hopefully Apple will support flash soon.
Kenneth - Thanks for the compliment. The video above was a little teaser video for social media. Here is a YouTube video for a property that I photographed. It is a little slower for a potential buyer.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_s35PAY_DDU. I delivered the QR Code virtual tour sign to the realtor today that will link a client to the YouTube video/Virtual Tour. If you have a QR code reader on a smartphone it will take you directly to the video. What's awesome about this is at the end of the video it displays a video description. If you put your marketing info in that description it is all displayed at the end of the video.
