Our Future Starts With Today

"The past does not define you, the present does."

Jillian Michaels, fitness guru

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Our future starts with today

Trying to live in the past keeps us locked into our yesterdays and limits our tomorrows.

There are things that are from our past that should be packed for our life's journey. They are our good memories, those who are close up us and the positive experiences. The things that we pack for our lives journey are those that bring pleasure to our and will warm our hearts on a cold day and our values to guild our journey.

As important as it is to pack our bags for our lives journey we have to be careful not to over pack.

There are things that are best to be left behind you as you go forward on your life's journey. Take the bad memories of your past and put them into a box and pack them away and put them into storage. Went we put our bad memories into a box and store them we will lighten our load and renew our energy.

As you start to move forward you will find that a small group of people will resent your progress. They fear that you will move forward to bigger opportunities and as you do they feel that they will be left behind. That fear will be manifested in their behavior, they will everything possible to ensure that they you stay exactly where your at today.

That person wants to transfer their insecurities to you and try to make you feel guilty about your ambitions to your life's journey of fulfilling your goals and dreams.  Unfortunately that person will be able to make the journey with you.

Your future starts today and your tomorrow can be anything that you believe they can be. In order to take our lives journey of a better tomorrow we will have to leave the baggage of the past behind us and move forward into our future with less baggage.
