Driving Through a Vernon Hills, IL Winter Wonderland!
The Village of Vernon Hills, IL and the Cuneo Mansion and Gardens kicked off the annual Vernon Hills Winter Wonderland holiday light show this past friday and it is spectacular.
Cars were lined up as far as the eye could see and the wait in line was worth it. Our eyes were filled with wonderment and sparkle at the incredible display of twinkle lights. The children were excited as they searched to find as many Frosty the Snowman's as they could, which is quite hard when you're trying to take in all that the light show has to offer.
The event opened this Friday November 26, 2010 and runs thru January 1, 2011. Hours are everyday 6-10pm. The Light Show will close on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so the staff may spend this time with their families. The Light Show will be open for New Years Eve and New Years Day. The cost for this event is $5 per car Monday thru Thursday and $10 per car Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
