Pets and the Sale of your Home.Most of us have our pets that we love. They come in all sizes. Some are loud. Some are sweet. Some are dangerous. Many buyers I work with will not enter into a home if there is a dog loose in the home. They are afraid of the pet. I have had many dogs and a few cats try to bite me while I showing property.
Many pets have soiled the carpet, furniture or drapes. I have found that if I can smell it I cannot sell it! Clean, Clean, Clean or either Replace.
Make a plan for your pet before you place your home on the market. Many families put "Spot" in the garage and place a note on the garage door. Some take the pet to work or let a family member care for the pet.
