Common Sense would say you shouldn't list your property during the holidays?  Who writes a statement like that? Is  this common sense?  Who tells us these memes?  News flash the housing market is falling. Okay so how do we change this type of thinking?  If you decide to list your property than you are creating a different common sense that is more valuable for you and the economy.   Are there less buyer's out there in the market?  Can you really say this is true?  The only way I'm able to access this information is to look at the RMLS information that has recently posted to my account that there are less showings.  As to be sure about the buyers only time will tell, as pending sales will tell.  Today as of 11/29/2010 there are 18 pending sales in The Dalles, Or.   Oh this is the last part of november and December is just around the corner, your house could be one of the ones who will find that special buyer.   List your house now!

Historically since people believe there are less buyer's than there are less homes on the market which if that is true then it's a good time to list your house.

After the holiday's the supply of listings historically seem to jump up as people anticipate the new year rush to get on the market.  It's time to list now! 

The holiday season is so feastive and people put up beautiful lights to show off their house, can you imagine your house decorated in beautiful lights to lure  your buyer to purchase  your home so that they can decorate the house next year?   List your house today!

Many buyers who are really looking to purchase a house will be out there looking and your house will catch their eye... The realty of non houses on the mls will give them the power to purchase your house sooner so you can either move, upgrade to a better house or just travel.  It's your choice.
