AUTHOR Richie Alan Naggar.... "Pearls for the Soul".... book debuts
My friend Richie wrote this book and everyone who has read or hasn't read his posts needs to read it...He's a good egg...I promise it's worth your time and effort.
Richard Alan Naggar.... a local author and Real Estate Broker has just released his first book called "Pearls for the Soul". Currently, Richie is doing a book tour in the Inland Empire area promoting his works at borders and novelty stores....Here's a recent Interview
Q: What is Pearls for the Soul..?
A: It is a book of proverbs, insights, revelations, positive sayings, and uplifting phrases. It is something that causes us to reflect and receive good input and guidance from within ourselves and then to share with others.
Q: What prompted you to write your book..?
A: I was working in an adverse situation many years ago and I was always looking for the upside of everything as the downside presented itself everyday. I started writing and collecting various insights and proverbs and found them to be very instrumental in me prospering under these conditions.....It worked like a tonic
Q: How does it feel to have a book out..?
A: I wasn't sure until I did my first book signing and had contact with people face to face. People would come into borders and after thumbing through the book, would share their life stories with me. Their hopes, dreams, aches, pains and desires...Then, I knew I had something special. I was able to reach people inside and for them to share...it. Now, I can tell you, it feels great to be able to relate to people that way.
Q: How are sales coming..?
A: I am amazed at the steady sales especially from the local book stores and novelty shops. Sales are coming in from as far away as Rhode Island, Hawaii, Nevada, and New York and Beverly Hills.
Q: What is the hardest part about writing a book..?
A: To me, it would be to offer material to people that they would find of interest. It dawned on me one day that everything I wanted for myself and family, so did everyone else. Pearls for the Soul compliments that.
Q: Describe your readers..
A: I don't mind telling you that people are buying anywhere from 1-10 books at a time. I was astonished. It was pointed out to me that this not only makes for a bedside table reader or coffee table book, but is an excellent gift. I learned that people wanted to give something other than balloons, flowers, stuffed animals, or candy to someone else especially in these tough times. My readers are...... primarily people who care.....
Q: Is this book a page turner..?
A: Ha! yes and no...Let me explain. If you pick up this book and turn to any page and read , it speaks to you. It causes you to ponder and wonder..it is like a treat. On that note, yes, it is a page turner. I do know of one elderly man that reads from it everyday and claims it is full of wisdom...I am thankful for his remark.
Q: What is the price of your Book..?

Q: Can we expect any more books from you..?
A: Yes, indeed. Currently, I am 1/2 way through my next book...called Pearls for Girls...which are the do's and don'ts on dating. I cover from the teen years all the way up to divorcees and widows. It is pro all women
Q: What is a Real Estate Broker doing writing books..?
A: I have had unique access to volumes of people all my life. I firmly believe that the true treasures to be found are in people and I hunt accordingly. In between escrows, I find time to write.....
