I'm sorry * THIS IS JUST WRONG * Harry Reid talks for 5 minutes from the floor of the US Senate on Monday about a COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAME * the Nevada wolf pack beat Boise State......Big Whoop!

Talk about being OUT OF TOUCH......HARRY!  Get a CLUE!  THIS IS WHAT NEVADA SHOULD BE CROWING ABOUT!  Kudos to NASCAR for supporting Las Vegas when Reid does NOT!

Someone wrote the speech for him and there should be SOMEONE on his staff that knows what BIG EVENTS are going on in Nevada!

Between 2 races and Championship week, NASCAR brings million$ into the state and should be acknowledged

Jimmy’s from right here in El Cajon, the next city over from us. His victory not only made the news, but it made the top story on television and the front page in the newspaper. However, the Nevada victory over Boise State was pretty significant, especially for Stanford and TCU.

Sorry Jim * NOT on the Right Coast or NASCAR country and NOT when Reid and Obama have BOTH bashed Las Vegas for the last 2 years.

Jimmy's 5th Championship is a YAWN! however, the fact that millions are being spent in Las Vegas by NASCAR, teams and fans is the STORY!

I'm glad NASCAR Championship week was moved from NYC 2 years ago - it was too cold and the city did not acknowledge the race cars on the streets, etc as they are welcomed on The Strip....not acknowledging this event AND the $$$ spent by NASCAR for 2 races at the LV track is a big SNAFU for Reid.

Too bad SoCa has not supported the NASCAR races at Fontana as they have now lost 1 of their 2 season races and therefore millions of dollars for the local economy!!!

Wallace - and I am sure that somehow Harry is going to claim credit for bringing home federal funding that enabled Nevada to beat Boise St. Or maybe someone from SEIU put something extra in Nevada's kickers Gatoraide. Do they even allow kickers to drink Gatoraide? After all, they don't work up much of a sweat and lose a lot of electrolites.

Heather * it's the MONEY * the millions that NASCAR brings to Las Vegas * It's the inhabitantsof the ENTIRE STATE that benefit from NASCAR and the LV track and races...and this is what HARRY should be touting on the floor of the US Senate
