I have spoken to several people who have come to the United States from other countries who have commented about how difficult the transition was and how different the process was to acquire or rent real estate in our country. Since I speak Portuguese and lived in Brazil, I thought it would be a great idea to establish a network of Portuguese-speaking real estate agents to assist customers with finding suitable imóveis (real estate).
I finally put that idea into action by creating Imoveis.us as a destination for Portuguese-speaking customers who are looking to buy or rent a home in the US. Since this website is presented in the Portuguese language, Brazilian and Portuguese customers will probably find the website is most useful to them, but we certainly welcome customers and real estate agents regardless of race, religion, age, gender, or national origin to take advantage of what the website has to offer or join our network. Through the website, we hope to connect customers with real estate agents, loan officers, attorneys, inspectors, construction companies and property management companies that can speak a customer's native language, if they so desire.
We think this website will provide a win-win for all of the participants who make a real estate transaction a success.
