Are you aware that if you stop your cell phone service with AT&T in the middle of your billing cycle, or even 1 day into the next billing cycle, they will bill you for the entire month? Yes they do and so does Windstream. Doesn't seem fair but that is the way it is! So, if you are trying to lower your monthly bill and call Windstream and make a reduction in services, they will take off all the features you want immediately...sounds good? Nope, they take off all your services but continue to till you for them until the next billing cycle begins! And neither company tells you this when you call Customer Service to make changes in your present service, of when you port your present number.
So Beware, if you are going to make a change, ask them when your billing will stop. It isn't what you think. If you are going to be charged for unlimited calling for 29 more days but they stop you unlimited calling, you would think they would advise you of that? NO WAY!! I am sure other carriers are just as bad, so check it out!! I didn't and I am paying for service on my cell with TWO carriers, even though I ported my number.
