We're On It!

Real Estate Technology with ActiveRain

Hello ActiveRain!  We wanted to let you know about a few updates we are working on.  I apologize first and foremost for the poor performance issues you have been experiencing lately.  We are not about to enter that nightmare we experienced last spring and the reason we won't is because our developers are on top of it.

We are in the midst of upgrading our database servers.  The database is responsible for storing all your wonderful blog entries and comments.  Think of us as replacing your old Pinto with a shiny new Mercedes.

A datacenter migration was the cause for the last bit of downtime.  We needed more space to fit all your valuable information in.  We're upgrading your one bedroom condo to one of the homes you see on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills......I'm not the only one who watches that right?!?!?

I wish I had an ETA for you but I do not.  We will be rolling out upgrades over several weeks.  ActiveRain may be intermittent unavailable during evenings for several hours.

Thank you all for your ever patient ways.  I know it's rough but we'll get there!

We all know ActiveRain has been slow the last couple of weeks, but we as AR members should have some patience for ActiveRain and its employees because of the daunting task of keeping up with AR's growth.

Kerrie:  I think that I, like many others, find my own "shyness" somewhat disappears when on the internet... or on Active Rain, making comments and writing posts.  Sometimes that is good news... other times... not so much.

Have a wonderful week.

Kerrie:  Speaking of those darling Proxy Errors... I have seen at least three of them over the last week.  Nothing like they were... but... just made me wonder what was going on.

Kerrie, it's great to know that AR is constantly improving to keep up with its growth. And glad to know there is a reason for the glitches and that it will be over eventually and we will be rocking and rolling again!

Glad I checked out your post,I have been spending less time on AR because of the lag time on this site. I am sure you have many many more Blogers that are not aware your working on the issue. Just knowing you own up to the problem puts me at ease.

It does seem like every time we start having problems with the site, it is followed by a new feature or some upgrade of servers or something.  I have urged a couple of AR bloggers not to give up because historically it means something good is coming.  Glad I was right!
