As I was driving home tonight, passing homes and business decorated with lights and trim, I thought it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The tent has been erected off of Manor Street in preparation for the Millersville Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony sponsored by the Millersville Business Association which will be held on Friday December 3 at 7pm at the corner of Leaman & Manor Avenues in front of The International House across from Wiley's Pharmacy. Hot chocolate will be served as Santa makes an appearance to deliver gift stockings to the children.
On December 14th, The St. Albans South African Boys Choir will be performing at the MU-Lancaster concert hall located at 42 N. Prince Street in Lancaster at 7pm. The St. Albans South African Boys Choir comprises 100 members and has toured internationally. Tickets are free but must be reserved in advance. Don't miss this chance to see this award winning chorale.
If you haven't bought your Christmas Tree yet, why not buy it at the Millersville Fire Hall located at 26 E Charlotte Street and support our firefighters at the same time! There is also a Christmas Bazaar being held on Saturday December 4th at the fire hall.
These are some of the many Christmas events being held in the Lancater County area this weekend.
