I am encouraged by the amount of homes that are in the pending sale status, but not by the closed sales for November. 10 homes sold, out of the 10 homes sold, 6 were foreclosures. (Last month only 2 homes sold were foreclosures.) Year to date 2010, 193 homes sold. Year to date 2009, 170 homes sold, so we are still ahead of the game for the year. It is a wait and see game at this point in time.
Interest rates are at a historic low and housing prices are fantastic. It really is a great time to buy a home in New Milford, CT.
