Cook County 'Highway Robbery' comes at Owners thru their Mailboxes!

For Cook County taxpayers things are looking grim.  The Illinoisschaumburg township assessor, Department of Revenue announced the 2009 equalization factor of 3.3701 for Cook County real estate - an increase of 13% above the 2008 factor (2.9786).  This equalization factor has affected all 2009 second installment tax bills due December 13, 2010.

Feel free to protest your taxes in any way possible by contacting the Schaumburg Township Assessors Office or by filing an appeal online.

I'm impressed that your house prices went up in value so much in 2009 compared to 2008. OH WAIT, no it is just the government can't cut back like the rest of us have to. (PROTEST THOSE BILLS AND VOTE THOSE PEOPLE OUT OF OFFICE)
