Now it's easier to separate your personal and business facebook pages.

Finally I can invite people to my facebook business page without having to have them join my personal page first!  This is why I need to constantly check the setting upgrades that magically appear overnight with no warning or fanfare.

The fact that this stuff excites me is enough for me to seriously consider therapy to control my inner geekdom.

So here it is:  Once you are on your business page, click "edit page" and then click the Marketing tab. Now head to the "tell your fans" tab and you will be directed to where you can invite people directly from your e-mail service address book.

It used to be that you could only use this if you are using one of the more popular systems like Outlook, Yahoo or Google.  Now however you have the option of uploading a file from virtually any system.  I use Topproducer and was able to export a csv file. save it to my desktop and then upload it and invited over 1000 people to "like" my business page.

This is a great way to increase the number of fans you have for business and avoiding the need for your clients to have access to your personal content.

Again, I apologize for forcing technology on you so deep into a Friday, but I may not have lasted the weekend without sharing.

Wow, I was just discussing yesterday how this should be an option. I'm going to test this out this afternoon. Thanks for sharing!

It seems like facebook is changing something almost daily. Today I went to post an update on my business page and could find the status bar to post in. LOL!

Excellent, Another great tip from Activerain. I have been trying to figure out how to separate the 2 pages. I don't know why I just didn't look here first. Thanks!
