The Women’s Committee presents the 37th Annual Festival of Trees & Traditions. This festival has become a beloved tradition to many living in the Greater Hartford area. This festival will be held at America’s first public art museum—the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, and it is sure to be the perfect event to warm your spirits as the chilly winter season carries on here in Hartford.
From December 2nd through the 12th, beautiful holiday wreaths, gingerbread houses, menorahs, and trees will be on display for the public’s enjoyment. These one-of-a-kind displays have been created by over two hundred individuals and creative artists throughout the community, and all trees and specialty holiday art pieces are available for purchase.
This family-friendly event will also showcase various special activities such as a screening of The Polar Express at 3pm on December 5th and The Miracle on 34th Street at 3pm, on December 12th. The event will also showcase musical entertainment on a daily basis in the Aetna Theater.
