Don't always believe everything you hear and read in the national media...

If you open a newspaper or turn on the news these days, it is hard not to notice the multitude of reports on the recession.  How bad things are EVERYWHERE...

Well, I am not at all suggesting that there are not lots of folks struggling right now BUT sometimes it is important to pay attention to some of the positive things going on around our great nation.

Just in case you might be wondering...

Texas Rocks!!

You are exactly right Jeanna, there are still many things for us to be thankful for. These are tough times but we can still take advantage of the opportunities the present offers and look forward to a stronger economy in the future. Until then we just keep on swimming.

Jeanna - How awesome is this video?  I caught it on Andrea Gimblet's Facebook the other day.  Have you ever seen David Winan's Texaplex videos?  I spoke to him the other day and he's going to be doing one for San Antonio soon.  They're awesome and a great way to promote Texas and the cities that make up the Texaplex.
