Debbie.....that is one very rich looking kitchen....I can't imagine the look with a tile floor....it would not be as warm and rich looking.

Barbara - Thx. Yes, we do lots of hardwood in kitchens - prob. the surface I do most often (followed by tile).

Ginny - Thx.  Yes, hardwood is a wonderful option - softer on your feet than tile and usually less expensive.
