Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to share to all the agents who participate in mentor programs. This weekend an agent who passed their state exam, but is not yet licensed, had asked if they could accompany me at my open house this weekend.
We placed signs, walked the neighborhood, and held the open house. During down town I had an opportunity to talk with the soon to be new agent about their real estate goals. I invited the new agent to visit our team at anytime, sit, watch & listen in between as many training sessions she could squeeze before she became licensed.
During the conversation the new agent told me she has a friend at another real estate company. This agent is well known and a much respected agent in our area. She said that she wanted to work with this agent but he wanted a 5-year commitment from her. She declined his offer because she is young and also had family plans and just couldn't commit to 5-years.
While she very much respected the agent & his business plan, she decided to come to Keller Williams. Her impressions of the office & all the agents willing to help her blew her away. Agents were showing her systems, training was available, and she had opportunities to monitor successful agents. Our doors are open to all agents, we built our brand and are very happy to help others build there own brand.
The moral to the story, we are all in the business to sell real estate, a successful transaction with a well trained, experienced realtor is amazing! New agents can be well trained and have the experience of a professional team behind them. This young girl will be an amazing agent even in this market. We are very excited she has joined the Keller Williams Team.
