Way to go Dawgs! Jake Locker's senior year as Husky quarterback fills out his dream of bringing home the Apple Cup, before he heads off to the NFL after graduation. The Washington Huskies are going to their first Bowl game since 2002! Congratulations to the entire team and to Steve Sarkisian for coaching the Huskies to their regular season record of 6-6, the best W-L record of the last 7 years! Kudos also to Chris Polk (clearly UW's offensive MVP) who practically carried the entire team. His numbers were ridiculous: 29 carries, 284 yards, 9.8 avg. and 2 TDs!
Now that the Huskies have gotten back to their winning ways, this is surely a sign that Seattle's housing prices here have nowhere to go but up! The end of the softening trend in King County's housing market is most certainly influenced by the fate of our Dawgs. Everybody likes to associate with a winner, Seattle is on its way back. Huskies 35, Cougars 28.
Smart Money magazine has confirmed the Seattle housing market to have one of the lowest risk percentage (15.7%)of any of the Smart Money 40 cities in America for further declines in housing prices. The Greater Seattle metropolitan area of King County has faired better than other counties in Washington. Up here in Dawg country (King County), the King County median home price is actually up 2.1% from a year ago to $390,000, and building permits are up 163%.
