Speechless Sunday – You Don’t Get Much for a Buck Anymore!

By
Real Estate Agent with McGraw Realtors

Diane offered to take me to lunch the other day, so I said yes!  And when she mentioned Arby's, I was okay with that too.  Their chocolate turnovers are amazing!  So we met up at the restaurant, placed our order off the dollar menu 'cause  we were in a "Let's eat cheap" mode and then waited for our tray of food.  Diane had ordered one of those Mocha shakes and that sounded good too because one can never have too much chocolate.  So I ordered one too!

Here's what we got...

Arbys Dollar Menu Mocha Shake
I felt like a kid again!  Using the straw for measurement will show you that these little dudes were tiny!  Our straws are the normal Arby's straws that get swallowed up by the normal size cups!

Sure enough, you don't get much for a buck anymore.  Well except for housing in Oklahoma.  We still offer some of the best value for the money.  Here' three quick examples:

Our value meal sized deals include 3 bed, 2 bath homes beginning in the $60K range!

Our specials include foreclosed houses in all price ranges, styles and condition.

Our everyday value deals include new construction beginning in the $120K range to as high as you want to go.

And finally, our super-sized specials include houses on acreage with things like infinity pools, large shops and over 2000 square feet of living space for around $800K!

Houses like these do give you a lot for your money and they don't look like little tiny cups with big ol straws sticking out the top all funny looking and everything.

Well except maybe for some of the foreclosed ones!  But even then...a little can go a long ways!

Bob - I was in the Dollar Store before Thanksgiving with a young grand-daughter.  She reminded me that the quality of the "stuff" was better 2 years ago, and that the selection wasn't as good now.  I think she would agree, you don't get much for a dollar anymore:-)

Hi Bob... I have noticed the dollar menus seem to be shrinking, but I had never noticed that the size of the items on it were.  It was bound to happen!

Bob, right, a dollar does not get us much anymore; however, you seem to have lots of bang for the buck in your housing market.
