DumaniSafe

DunamiSafe, a combination of the Greek Word for “Inherent Strength”: Dunamis, and SAFE, for Secure Automated File Eradication, was borne out of necessity. We live in a world surrounded by technology ,and our lives are now in the palm of our hands, laptops, net books and desktop computers. With an ever-increasing risk of both data and identity theft, old solutions for simply backing up data are not enough anymore.

From the AJC news report from yesterday:  AJC - An auditor for the Workers Compensation Fund had a laptop stolen from his car. It contained Social Security numbers and other personal information for about 2,800 people and 1,400 companies.

Companies need to protect their customers. Families need to protect their future. Both need to protect their legacy. With DunamiSafe you can feel secure and safe knowing you have the absolute best protection available today.

I received the question of how the thieves get your NPI (non public information)?  Hopefully, no one is putting mail with NPI in it into their mailbox for pick up. Stealing mail (both incoming and out going) is alive and well. Dumpster diving is another popular pastime for ID Thieves, both in the corporate and private world. If you don't have a shredder, get one. Get a cross cut one or better. There are people out there who will tape the strips back together from a cheap shredder.

It amazes me how hard these people (thieves) will work to get out of work! 70% of all ID Theft comes from a corporate data breach. Laptops are stolen. NPI data is copied to a flash drive and sold. Janitors are paid in cash for Social Security numbers they find in the trash. Well meaning public officials post NPI on web sites. Junkies get jobs in medical offices to steal NPI. Social Security numbers can be better than cash to buy drugs. Web sites are hacked. Corporate networks are compromised. Portable hard drives are lost. These are some of the more common ways. There are many more with new twists happening all the time. Click this link to visit our web site https://www.dunamisafe.com/index.aspx?PC=13060

Thank you for this information, Richard.  I believe most of the public is dangerously naive about this topic.

Thank you for all the great info in this blog post. I agree...if these same people put as much work into a job as they do into stealing...we might be out of our financial troubles.
