Sunday Sunset Left Us Speechless

Whizzing down the Highway 400 tonight from our northern escape, we were graced with the most gorgeous sunset, that was trying very hard to peak out from the snow laden clouds. We were amazed at just how beautiful the effect was and wish the pictures did it justice. Traveling at 110 km in a moving vehicle made the picture a bit blurry, but we hope you get the idea of what we saw.

As we were enjoying the scenery, the radio was advising us that a batch of the white stuff may be headed our way. That's ok, it will help make it look a lot like Christmas!

That is a beautiful sunset. Looks a bit cold there as well? Happy Holidays!

This reminds me of our Western Colorado sunsets and landscape. Nice pic.

Al/Peggy...The sky is so orange it looks like the horizon is on fire.  I see some strange white stuff starting to take over the landscape too...not sure what it is, but I want NO part of it...just a wee bit too cold for me!  ;-)

We had a few flurries today also.  Made chicken soup, and a great fire in my back porch fireplace.  Yep, winter is here.
