Belly Dancers will be performing for the public at the New Perry Hotel, on Saturday December 11, 2010. The performance will benefit Toys For Tots and everyone is invited to attend the show and donate a new, unwrapped toy to be given to needy children in the local community.
With the lingering recession, the US Marine Corp's Toys for Tots program's is facing greater challenges in fulfilling their mission of helping less fortunate children experience the joys of Christmas.
The belly dance show known as the "Holiday Hafla," starts at 7 pm and will feature local and world renown performers. Headlining the show is International sensation Morroco. Also performing will be the local professional troupe, kabilaht a janub who recently captivated audiences at the GA National Fair.
The Saturday evening performance is in conjunction with a weekend long Belly Dance workshop, taking place Saturday and Sunday at the New Perry Hotel. The workshop is available to belly dancers of all levels and anyone who is interested in learning from one of the world's greatest dancers.
