IDX SOLUTIONS-

Today it is really important for a Realtor or Broker to have a powerful IDX (Internet Data Exchange) solution that speaks back to the CRM (Contact Management System). Without this your agents are losing business. The online home buyer has one thing on their mind and that is access to listings, pictures, and availability.

So having and IDX on your website that will track the search behaviors of a prospect and make recommendations to them is huge. Imagine the time you'll save not having to guess just what home your buyer wants. Most agents aren't sure of the right time to contact and active buyer, because they don't have that information.

It's all about exposure and visuals on the net to get customers but old people like me have a hard time understanding how to make it all happen efficiently.

@Brandon, are you hosting and maintaining that site yourself? There are alot of different solutions out there so you have to know what you are expecting to get out of your webste (leads, presence, branding, or all of the above). If I were to make one suggestion it would be to not only have an IDX feed framed into your site, but also, give the prospect a reason to come back to your site(ie, listing alerts, market analysis, trending data) that way they return. I can show you a couple wayt that this is done if you ever had a few minutes.

Here is an examples http://ServingYourTown.com.

I looked at your website and noticed that you are already asking me for my information before I get to search for homes. What is your ratio between traffic to registered prospects?

It's not about houses, it's about people

Anyone using Diverse Solutions with Google PPC campaigns?  I tried it a few years back and could never make the Google gods happy with my landing page.

@John- are you currently using a 3rd party IDX feed to your consumer facing site? You will have a great one intrigrated with eEdge or ML Professional Edition. Are you going to the Keller Family Reunion this weekend? If so stop by the Market Leader booth for a sneak preview and to register to eEdge/ML Pro.
