Hurricane season is gone

It was quiet one for Florida and it ended on November 30th. Now, we got hit with WINTER .....

Days are not so bad and actually there was only one day ( yesterday) that long sleeves and jackets were helpful. But nights.......freeeeezing.  I have garden that I had to cover for two nights in a row and I am hoping that nothing was killed. When weather like this hits, it makes me appreciate Florida warm winters. I know that we get hot in summer, but my personal opinion is - I would rather sweat that freeze. Also, I lived in CT for five years and yes, maybe temperatures were lower in summer, but humidity - not so much. Please, anybody living up north - do not take offense. We go on vacation to CT, NY.....I do miss hills, valleys, etc and I enjoy summer up north.

Dear Anna,

We just got back from Florida, and for a couple of days it was a little chilly in the morning, and on Saturday, it was absolutely gorgeous, now our friends are telling us that it is cold again...Happy that hurricane season is over.  a

What happened to global warming?  Miami was in the 40's today.  Wow, very nasty.

Anna, you are right, the Hurricane season is over with little fanfare. Predictions in spring were grim, but it was mostly quiet

And nobody regrets
