Special offer

I sold the same house to the same Buyer 10 times and it finally Closed!

Real Estate Agent with ReMax 10

My first time buyer decided to put an offer on a house she loved.  The house had everything on her wish list and everything on mine because we had a cooperative seller and seller's agent. After the offer was accepted my buyer started having panic attacks and each time I had to resell her the house to keep her from pulling out.

She was not expecting the lender to underwrite the tinest details of her life, causing doubt for her. She would text me, email me, call me each time to say this was just too hard for her.  Each time I had to resell her on her dream.

During one of the times, she had omitted a detail of her credit that required a heartfelt letter of explanation.  You know the type, where you must explain your life.  After getting thru this hurdle she was a nervous wreck waiting to see if the letter was accepted.

She was buying the house in secret from her family so the only thing she had to rely on besides me and her loan officer was HGTV...and boy did they create confusion.  She questioned every step every-time she watched a show and guess who had to resell her again..........

But there is a happy ending to this story....today she closed and she was the sweetest most cooperative person....it was finally over and she bought her dream house. The seller's agent (who shared lots of the drama) could not believe this was the same buyer.

Goes to show....our job is never done until we get to the closing table and have checks in hand!

And even then Andretta, you will be the first she will call if the hot water heater goes out or if a light bulb burns out........it's nice that you helped her and held her hand.........you made it happen.  Good Job!

You are right that it seems that we are reselling them on their dream home when they have those doubts.  The process is tighter than ever and I am sure that she is now grateful that she had you in her corner to cheer her on!  You have served and earned a client for life and that is what this business is all about!  Happy Holidays!

Welcome to the world of real estate.  It seems we are all doing this a lot these days.  I hope your next sale is much smoother.  Merry Christmas and may 2011 be a great year for you.

Andretta, I think I get the most satisfaction from the type of buyer you just described.  I feel like I have really helped them through a process they would not have been able to do without my assurance and guidance.  Yes, it can by trying on the nerves at times but when it is all said and done I usually have a new friend.
