Well, it's been about 6 months since my last normal schedule of posting. I was helping a friend start his construction company. It has been a lot of work, learning, and I'm glad I took the time to explore another aspect of real estate.Thanks to ActiveRain for understanding that I didn't quit, I just took a break!

Joe--Welcome back to AR community again..I hope you enjoyed the construction industry.
You name it, I've been doing it. From entity formation, to branding and marketing, to learning construction estimating, to actually knocking down a house with a payloader! It has been one heck of an experience. I am now experienced with commercial framing, some commercial codes, the building and permitting process, driving a super cool demo vehicle, and even some skilled work like professionally painting, some paint prep work, and a wee bit of plumbing. :) I think my next post might be about my $1700 demolition lesson, but there are so many things I've learned, I'm not sure where to start.
