Floida HOAs want to STOP USP/Santa's Deliveries * BaaHumbug!

KUDOS to UPS (sponsor of NASCAR's #6 David Ragan Ford) for getting CREATIVE and GREEN! 

UPS has rented home TEMPORARILY in the Palm Harbor neighborhood and are delivering packages to the home's garage every morning.....then UPS employees in motorized golf carts are re-deliverying the packages to 6 residential neighborhoods in the area. 

Needless to say, GREENCHS in the Hooville neighborhood are saying the homeowner, a temporary UPS employee, is violating the rules of the HOA and running a business out of her home.

Sounds like someone has too much time on their hands.  I would never even realize if UPS was delivering packages to a home next to me each day.

What a dumb ass.  Looks from the comments on the original article that the WHOLE problem is one butt-head neighbor.  UPS should get their loudest truck and let it deliver all of the packages on his street for a few hours each evening...

I understand that the neighbor may have a point, but what a stupid point.  The only other way is to deliver the packages in bigger, noisier, and more obtrusive trucks.

It's a 3 month SEASONAL arrangement....like Hickory Farms kiosk in the local mall...GET OVER IT!  Would he RATHER have vacant REO property with the grass 12 inches high?

Wallace, I am a property manager and new to Active Rain...I am finding that we are not even a choice in many of the drop down menus...especially referrals...have you any idea how we can get more visibility?

Also, UPS has rented a PODS and put it in a quiet parking lot in our community development (Age specific golfing community in "Santa"Rosa) and the big truck fills it up and then the UPS employee picks up pkgs in the golf cart and delivers....he's decorated his cart to be a sleigh...I think it's great...ingenius and saves gas guzzling and pollution in the neighborhood...with all those BIG trucks.

Would be interested in your feedback (about the PM visibility on AR) Sue
