Glorious Music at Battell Chapel in New Haven, CT

GNHCC Winter Concert

Tomorrow night, Saturday, December 11, the Greater New Haven Community Chorus will present its holiday concert. I'm proud to say that I'm part of this chorus. We will be singing Vivaldi's Gloria as well as selections from Handel's Messiah.

And then there are the Christmas carols, where audience participation is encouraged! The concert starts at 8 p.m.

Battell Chapel is located at the corners of Elm and College Streets in New Haven, CT.  Part of the Yale campus, it is a really beautiful space, with an amazing pipe organ that lends its gorgeous sound to the SABT (Soprano, Alto, Bass, Tenor) Greater New Haven Community Chorus.

Tickets are available through the GNHCC website for $15, or at the door for $20. It will be an evening of glorious music. Won't you join us?

Hi Ginny - It was a huge success! There were people lined up all down a very long block, waiting to get in. The whole place was filled with a very enthusiastic audience who were very appreciative, and joined in the carol singing with gusto.

I loved it, although I had a cold to begin with and wound up with laryngitis afterward. But my voice stayed intact for the entire concert, so fun was had by all.
