The book tells the story of a climb in the Dolomiti peaks: a son looking for his dead father, lover of the mountains and an-affective.
Conversing with the owner of the hut, in a still clear day of September, and in a parallel climbing towards the top with a crucifix that does not unite, the young man suffers from the words of a father that, in the "we" of a revolutionary generation, has chosen not to leave any inheritance to his son.
