I love Christmas. I was born on Christmas so I have a certain affinity for the holiday, at least I did until I got so close to 50. My wife and I love to decorate the house for Christmas. This year we have, at last count, 8 Christmas trees in the house. Ginger (my wife) has an Angel tree that she started putting up every year after she lost her father in 2005. We have a large white tree in the family room downstairs where we'll do Christmas morning and unwrap all the presents. Then there's a tree in the guest room. Next we have a set of 3 smaller trees by the front door that are covered in Spanish Moss, crawfish, alligators and an I love LSU button. We have a small LSU themed tree. This was to be it until the other day I wanted to put my train around one of the trees and didn't have a tree large enough for it to go under so I decided we needed a live tree. Ginger thought I was out of my mind until it was placed in the van and she got in and got a whiff. Then she announced, "okay live tree every year". We don't do much outside as I'm too lazy to climb around on a ladder, but the inside of the house screams Christmas is here. How about you? How do you decorate? Would you dare put this many trees out? This doesn't count my collection of Santa Clause's on the mantle that I inherited from my Grandmother or the animated figures we've bought over the years like Winnie the Pooh and Tigger in a sleigh singing Jingle Bells. If only I could figure out how to have more Christmas' without having to have a birthday every time as well.

Walter I love it!!! I don't ever do a live tree any more but I usually have several I put up! I am having surgery on Monday that will require 5 weeks of rest so I didn't do much in the way of decorating this year...a few things up!
On a normal year I have had as many as 5 trees up!!! and every room decorated to the hilt!!! I do love Christmas!!!

Yes, we take a drive at night to admire the lights in certain neighborhoods. We bring the hot chocolate and go driving.
Walter, my wife and two daughters have 3 trees up and balcony and stairway decorated with garland and lights and on outside the front door has both around it as well.
We are going to be multi tree this season as we just finished our daylite basement !
