I frequently get calls about security clearances for current and former residents and sometimes for client property owners; however, being called to a hearing on their residence status so that someone can RUN for a political office is OVER THE TOP.....even for me.
I'm glad this is happening in Chicago * Home of Blago and tv's The Good Wife * because this is bazarro.
I can understand calling Rahm's wife and their tenants * the husband of the couple actually filed a residency challenge himself * but calling the real estate agents involved in the rental of his property is over the top if the lease agreements and renewal/extension agreements are available for review by the commission.
Eventhough he has not lived in Chicago for several years, if Rahm's argument that he owns the property, votes and pays taxes in Chicago establishes his residency clears this hurdle, there may be a redefinition of the term RESIDENCE.
