November and December are traditionally a slow month, as this month has proven--even I have only done about 5 deals thus far, which is pretty bad for me!
Today I met several really nice couples, one was looking for for a 3 bedroom, two bathroom place at Liberty Harbor in Jersey City. I showed them a couple of places at 9 Regent St Jersey City, NJ 07302 and 30 Regent St Jersey City, NJ 07302, and wouldn't you know it, the one that I thought they would like the least is the one that they like the BEST! The one 'issue' is that they would like french doors placed into the apartment they like. The french doors actually would open up the space on th first floor to be an actual living room. We put it out to the management, maybe we'll get them to do it.
The next couple was trippy, they wanted a one bedroom, they're moving from Union City to Jersey City. The was was a trip, whereas the husband had a poker face, I just couldn't tell what he was thinking. All I know is that he wasn't happy to be there. The other 'problem' to is they're in a month to month tenancy and there was no urgency for them to make a decision. We as Realtor LOVE to hear that don't we?
I have about 10 calls to return tomorrow as well as four appointments, hope for the best, I have some catching up to do to make my numbers!
