Southern California Christmas Shopping.....It's 80 Degrees Outside

Oh I know this is going to upset my friends in the rest of the country. And blah, blah, blah....we all love the change of seasons. But let's face it, heavy snow makes for a hard day.

I woke up today to the news that the Metrodome roof has collapsed. And Minnesota is no stranger to heavy snow. My in-laws live in St. Louis and they are expecting a high of 19° today. A HIGH of 19°. Yikes....too much for me.

Although I still have some shopping to do...and I'd love to be able to put on a turtle neck and scarf...but it's going to be 85° and definitely a t-shirt day. Ho Ho Ho!

Sorry folks....but you love seeing this weather at the Rose Parade!

I use to live just down the street from Mission Viejo. We're not as warm here in Pinehurst, NC, but warmer than much of the nation. I miss the California Christmas weather! But I love the relaxed, no traffic hustle bustle of Pinehurst.

Ah, you so mean Karen(LOL), up here in canada its freezing. Today we are getting ready for a major snow storm. Instead of selling real estate I am going to have to get prepare for the weather, that reminds me I need Salt, and not for my steak on the barbaque.

Ah come on Barbara....you get the humidity in summer and we normally are in the upper 80s in summer. Which is perfect pool weather. In fact...might do some pool floating this afternoon :D

I am ealous. I would love to go Christmas shopping in warm weather. Having lived in New England all my life, I really could now do without snow & cold. I like cool, crisp fall-like weather. Although today we are balmy in the 50's with rain...at least it is not snow!
