The city of Fairburn continues to have its challenges with foreclosures, but new foreclosures on the market has decreased slightly from 2009 to 2010. The November 2010 results reflect that the number of new foreclosures on the market 14 down from 21 for the same period in 2009. This 33.3% drop is very significant and seems to indicate an improvement in the Fairburn real estate market. Again this number reflects the number of new foreclosures decreasing for Fairburn Georgia (source: Georgia MLS, see chart below).
