Speechless Sunday - Hola Cuba

I love Cuba and I've visited 3 times in the past year and a half. I just returned from Cayo Guillermo on December 4th after a wonderful week of fun in the sun with my husband, my sister and her husband.

Although I've only been home a week, the holiday already seems like a distant memory. I thought I would share some of my memories with you as we haven't seen much sun in the past few days here. The weather has been dull and drizzly and while it is raining here many areas around us are getting hit with major snowstorms.

Thanks Cuba, for the memories.

Hi Jenny, great photos. The water in the Caribbean is just so blue. For us in the US to get to Cuba, we have to go from another country, as the island officially doesn't exist. That's probably better for the country we have a terrible reputation as tourists. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Marc, yes we saw flamingos and egrets, herons, pelicans, turkey vultures and lots of seagulls.

Hi Rita, I used to go on holidays just to sit on the beach. Not I like exploring for some good photo opportunities.

Hi Wanda, It's like Cuba is lost in time. Yet the people are so happy and friendly. So poor and they work so hard. The beaches are paradise.
